hi i made an account for this topic specifically i would like to know if in the punisher comics did the mafia guys actually slaughter his entire family or just his wife and kid. i loved this movie but ive never read a punisher comic. i think i liked the change from crazy psycopaths attacking human spiders and other mutated people, to a normal guy who has a dangerous job who becomes a MORTAL (key word here) "superhero" he doesnt have any powers besides his will to defeat evil with his FBI skills. seeing as he was shot and stabbed, strangled and beaten alot in the movie i think the writers of the comic and the movie were trying to give the message that his desire to punish the evil in the world is his "superpower" because he gets in an mode (i guess u could say) that he cant be killed. think about it on the peir at the beginning of the movie he was shot how many times? hit, kicked and slapped how many times? exploded how many times?!
i hope someone agrees with me...by the way i just say that the last post was in 2004 when the movie came out and i posted this in 2007 so i dont even know if someone will respond. anyway i got all that off my chest and i cant wait to get a response (if i even do) cya smile

People have to be entitled to state their opinions. If someone states an opinion about you that is negitive just remember that its only his opinion, not as you say an "attack". Actually it only shows that the poster has a limited intellect and was so challenged by your comment that he could only respond with a negitive personal comment. Do I think that we should refrain from such comments? Yes of course, but do I think that they should not be aloud to submit them? No I say that smacks of censorship, and I don't think the internet is anyplace for that sort of thing.

The problem with having a conversation with thinking people (right or left) is that emotions always get involved and feelings get hurt. That's what shook SA to it's foundation previously. Aaron will remake it, but I think there needs to be intelligent discussion about a veriety of topics without feeling like you are attacking or being attacked. Statements like "You're a fool to think that way." or worse ones should not be OK.
