Is There Any Body Out There?
|
![]() Here I sit, on a tropical island, drinking rum drinks, and watching the waves break. Yet all that I can think about is how sad it is that no one submits anything interesting to the sane asylum anymore. Why is that I wonder? Did everyone decide that watching telly is more stimulating? Or perhaps you are all to busy raising children to bother with the internet any more. We will see I suppose if anyone takes the required minute and a half needed to respond to this. Come on guys. I urge you all to, turn off the tube, lock the children in a closet, and get back online. It is time for the inmates to return to the asylum. Ok enough from me for today. Becides my glass is now empty and I need a new rum drink so seeya. |

| What island are you on? Are you who I think you are? Well, it's my fault, I'll admit it. SaneAsylum is mine, but I don't even have an article on the front page, and haven't for over a year. Somehow it got all politicky, and it stopped being fun. I'd like to get back into it, but I am still trying to figure out what the purpose should be. What kind of site should it be? Blogging? Social networking? News? Interesting things? Politics? Rants? New Tech? Programming? Sites like that are plentiful on the Internet, what is one more screaming voice? I know that's a bad attitude, but that's where I'm at with it now. Professionally, my skill set has advanced such that I could make SaneAsylum into anything I want - but I just can't find anything compelling to strive for. I'm open to ideas though. Was there a gap that SaneAsylum bridged for you? Maybe I can get things moving again if I can find a road. |
